AD/SM-260/12 Canopy Latch Assembly Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SM-260/12.

AD/SM-260/12 Canopy Latch Assembly - Modification 8/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 30 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1979 against SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin (SB) SB No. 260B29, required a modification to prevent possible inadvertent unlocking of the canopy.  Compliance was required before 30 December 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
