AD/SM-205/21 Landing Gear Cross Members Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SM-205/21.

SIAI Marchetti S205 and S208 Series Aeroplanes

AD/SM-205/21 Landing Gear Cross Members - Inspection 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This Australian AD, raised in 1972 against SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin (SB)
SB 205B36, required an inspection of the main landing gear cross members.  This inspection has been superseded by inspections contained in SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin (SB) SB 205B48F (AD/SM-205/30 amdt 3).  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 29 September 1972 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS.

This AD has been superseded by inspections contained in SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin (SB) SB 205B48F referenced in AD/SM-205/30 amdt 3; therefore this AD is no longer required.
