AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SM-205/19.

SIAI Marchetti S205 and S208 Series Aeroplanes

AD/SM-205/19 Carburettor Air Intake Box and
Engine Cowling - Modification
7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This Australian AD raised in 1972 against SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin (SB)
SB 205B30A required a modification to avoid any fuel from the carburettor collecting in the engine cowl or carburettor air intake by drilling drain holes on the lower side of the engine cowling and carburettor air intake box.

Compliance was:  Before issue of Certificate of Airworthiness.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is no longer required.
