AD/SM-205/13 Engine Operating Limitation Installation of Placard and Modification of Tacho Marking Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SM-205/13.

AD/SM-205/13 Engine Operating Limitation - Installation of Placard and Modification of Tacho Marking 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1971 against SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin (SB) SB 205B18A required a modification by installation of a placard indicating revised engine RPM limitations and marking of Tachometer.

Compliance was:  Before 30 April1971.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
