AD/SC7/2 Flying Controls Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SC7/2.

AD/SC7/2 Flying Controls - Inspection and Modification 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1969 against Shorts Information Letter (IL) No. 7, required an inspection and modification of locknuts on aileron control rods.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 25 November 1969.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
