The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

| AD/SA 315/9 Amdt 1 | State of Design Airworthiness Directives | 9/2007 |
Applicability: | EUROCOPTER (AEROSPATIALE) SA 315B helicopters. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Requirement: | 1. Determine the applicability of the DGAC Airworthiness Directives (AD) listed in Table 1. 2. If it is determined that a DGAC is applicable and has not been previously accomplished, perform the actions required by that AD.
|
Compliance: | For Requirement 1 - Within 30 days after the effective date of this Directive. For Requirement 2 - Within 12 months from the effective date of this Directive. |
| This Amendment becomes effective on 30 August 2007. | |
Background: | The DGAC ADs listed in Table 1 of this Directive require one time actions for which the compliance date and/or period has passed. CASA has determined that these ADs may be applicable to recently registered Australian aircraft. This Directive is issued to ensure all State of Design ADs are complied with. This amendment corrects an error in the title of AD 84-099-028(b) R1 (Main Gearboxes) and adds AD 84-084-027(b) R1 (Tail Rotor Pitch Control Rod) and AD F-2004-198 (Tail Rotor Main Gear Box). The original issue of this AD became effective 23 November 2006. |
