AD/S-76/59 Amdt 1 Tail Rotor Control Rod - Rod Ends 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1994 against Sikorsky Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) 76-65-45 Revision A, required an inspection of the tail rotor control rods for cracking and pitting corrosion of the exposed threaded end of the control rods.  Compliance was required at the next scheduled inspection of the tail rotor control rods, or at the next 150 hour inspection after 13 July 1994, whichever occurred first.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
