AD/S-76/42 Upper Fuselage, Station 300 Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/S-76/42.
Sikorsky S-76 Series Helicopters
| AD/S-76/42 | Upper Fuselage, Station 300 | 7/2009 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009. | |
Background: | This AD, raised in 1986 against Sikorsky Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) 76-53-27, required a modification to the upper fuselage at Station 300 by installation of a stainless steel reinforcing strap to assist in the prevention of fatigue cracking. Compliance was required within 500 hours TIS after 31 August 1986. As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required. |
