AD/S-76/41 Emergency Flotation System Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/S-76/41.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1985 against Sikorsky Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) 76-32-19, required a one-time inspection of nose and emergency float fabric for seam separation, delamination and blistering.  Compliance was required within 30 days.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
