AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/S-76/22.

Sikorsky S-76 Series Helicopters

AD/S-76/22 Main Rotor Control Servo
Actuators - Inspection for
Balance Tube Passage
7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1982 against Sikorsky Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) 76-67-14A required an inspection of the main rotor control servo actuators of Helicopters that were previously inspected to ASB 76-67-14 due the possible omission of a passage in the oil servos oil return system.

Compliance was:  Within 30 hours TIS after 28 April1982.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
