AD/S-76/14 Fuselage Bulkhead Engine Support Fitting Area Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/S-76/14.

AD/S-76/14 Fuselage Bulkhead - Engine Support Fitting Area - Inspection and Modification 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1980 against Sikorsky Customer Service Bulletin (CSB)
76-53-5A, required an inspection and modification of the bulkhead/engine support fitting area (station 255) following reports of cracks being found.  Inspection was required at every maintenance release inspection, and a reinforcement modification terminated the inspection requirements.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
