AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/S-76/13.

Sikorsky S-76 Series Helicopters

AD/S-76/13 Tail Rotor Outboard Retaining
Plate Bolts - Inspection
7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1980 against Sikorsky Customer Service Bulletin (CSB) 76-65-11, required a one-time inspection of the shank and radius of the retention bolts on the tail rotor outboard retaining plate for possible pits/depressions.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 30 September 1980.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
