AD/Ryan/1B Lower Flying Wire Lug Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RYAN/1B.

AD/RYAN/1B Lower Flying Wire Lug - Replacement 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This Australian AD raised in 1966 required a modification by replacement of the lower flying wire attachment lugs (P/N 5-123-15) at fuselage bulkhead No.2 with reinforced lugs.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 29 November 1974.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
