AD/RRP-C/3 Crankshaft Inspection Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RRP-C/3.
Rolls Royce (Blackburn) Engines - Cirrus Series
| AD/RRP-C/3 | Crankshaft - Inspection | 7/2009 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD raised prior to 1963 against Cirrus Service Instruction (CSI) J14, or ANO 106.1.4.1.6.1, or AD/BNC/3 requiring an inspection of the crankshaft of Cirrus Minor II engines. Compliance was: Before installation in an aircraft following next overhaul completed after 1 July 1962. This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected engines to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
