AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/ROCK-114/9.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1980 against Rockwell International Service Bulletin (SB) No. SB-114-19, required replacement of fuel tank access door sealant due to long term exposure effects of aviation fuel, resulting in possible fuel screen contamination.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 December 1979.

As and all affected aircraft would be in compliance by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
