AD/Robin/2 Flap Control Mechanism Dented Plate Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/ROBIN/2.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD raised in 1981 against Avions Pierre Robin Service Bulletin (SB) SB No. 88, required an inspection for cracking around the axle of the flap control mechanism dented plate.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 August 1981.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
