Restraint Equipment

AD/RES/9 Unapproved Safety Belts and
Harnesses - Removal From Service
12/2007

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 November 2007.

Background:

This AD required removal from service before 1 January 1977 of seat belts with a locking action achieved by the belt webbing being wedged by spring pressure between two metal parts either of which is serrated or knurled.  As this is a once off compliance with all belts being removed from service, this AD is now obsolete.
