AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RES/30.

Restraint Equipment

AD/RES/30 Aeronautique Equipment Seat Belts, Harnesses and Cargo Restraint Equipment 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1995 to require removal from service of seat belts, harnesses and cargo restraint equipment processed by Aeronautique Equipment, Toowoomba, Queensland.  Aeronautique Equipment had manufactured and repaired equipment without the necessary approvals of the process, or of the materials used.  Compliance was required prior to 30 July 1995.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
