AD/RES/27 Amdt 2 HEMCO Seat Belts and Harnesses Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RES/27 Amdt 2.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1996 to require removal from service of certain seat belts and harnesses manufactured or repaired by HEMCO Industries.  Affected seat belts and harnesses were manufactured without approval.  Compliance was required no later than 1 March 1997.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
