Restraint Equipment

AD/RES/24 Aeronautique Seat Belts and Harnesses 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1989 to require removal from service of any seat belt or harness manufactured or repaired by Aeronautic Equipment, Toowoomba, Queensland.  Investigations had revealed that the manufacturer had used incorrect webbing for repair and manufacture.  Compliance was required prior to 1 January 1990.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
