AD/RAD/6 Bendix VHF Nav. Receivers, Flag Alarm and Deviation Circuit Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RAD/6.

AD/RAD/6 Bendix VHF Nav. Receivers, Flag Alarm
and Deviation Circuit Modification 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised prior to 1964 against Bendix Radio Service Bulletin (SB) No. M-195, Procedure 1, requiring all Bendix VHF Nav. Receivers Type MN-85DB to be modified.

Compliance was before installation in an aircraft.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected receivers to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
