AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RAD/57.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 September 2006.

Background:

The original issue of this Directive required the software of certain AlliedSignal
TPA-81A TCAS II processors be upgraded to Version 6.04A ‘enhanced’. This requirement is redundant as all Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems in Australia must now incorporate Version 7 software (see Civil Aviation Regulation (1988) 262AB).
