AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RAD/56.

Radio Communication and Navigation Equipment

AD/RAD/56 Honeywell, Commercial Flight Systems Group, TCAS II Processors 10/2006

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 28 September 2006.
Background:	The original issue of this Directive required the software of certain Honeywell International TCAS II processors be upgraded to Version 6.04A ‘enhanced’.  This requirement is redundant as all Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems in Australia must now incorporate Version 7 software (see Civil Aviation Regulation (1988) 262AB).
