AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RAD/4.

Radio Communication and Navigation Equipment

AD/RAD/4 Bendix D.F. Receiver Mechanical
Filter Circuit - Modification
4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised prior to 1964 against Bendix Radio Service Bulletin (SB) No. M-249 issue 1 requiring a modification to all Bendix Automatic DF Receivers Type DFA-70 fitted with 1500 cps Mech. Filter Type FLA-70A-3.

Compliance was before installation in an aircraft.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated, and that affected Receivers would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
