AD/RAD/15 Localiser Flag Circuit Modification Cancelled (Cth)

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/RAD/15.

AD/RAD/15 Localiser Flag Circuit - Modification 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in1965 requiring a modification to VHF COM/NAV Equipment - ARC Type 317A to ensure localiser flag circuit energised by the output of the 90 and 150 cycle filters.

Incorporating relevant sections of Rex Aviation Radio Design Change No. 6 was an acceptable means of compliance.

Compliance was before 1 January 1966.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated, and that affected equipment would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
