AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/R22/4 Amdt 7.

Background: | This unique Australian AD mandated the retirement lives of fatigue critical items. The retirement lives were those specified in the airworthiness limitation section of the R22 maintenance manual. The AD duplicated the effect of Civil Aviation Orders, Section 100.5, sub-section 9, and is no longer required. |
