AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/R22/36 Amdt 1.

Robinson R22 Series Helicopters

AD/R22/36 Amdt 1 Main Rotor Blades - 2 7/2006

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 6 July 2006.

Background:

This AD is no longer required because all Robinson R22 helicopters now have new design P/N A016-4 blades fitted which are not susceptible to corrosion pitting due to their use of a stainless steel skin.  The old design P/N A016-2 blades were required to be removed by 1 April 2006 in accordance with AD/R22/53.
