AD/PW-P/17 Propeller Oil Feed Pipe Modification Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PW-P/17.
Pratt and Whitney Piston Engines
| AD/PW-P/17 | Propeller Oil Feed Pipe - Modification | 9/2009 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD raised in 1967 against Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Ceres Service Bulletin (SB) No. 41 required a modification by replacement of propeller oil feed pipe assembly with a more durable assembly. Compliance was: Installed Engines: Before installation in an aircraft following next overhaul completed after 2 November 1967. Spare Engines: Before installation in an aircraft after 2 November 1967. Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated, and that affected engines would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
