AD/PNEU/2 Oil and Water Traps Retirement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PNEU/2.

AD/PNEU/2 Oil and Water Traps - Retirement 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1970 against Dunlop Aviation Service Bulletin (SB) SB No. 36-187 required replacement of air bottles manufactured prior to
1 January 1959 with bottles manufactured after 1 January 1959 to improved material specification HE. 30.

Compliance was before further flight after 31 July 1970.

As all affected air bottles would have been replaced by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
