Ad/Pitts S-2/6 Amdt 1 - Upper Wing Front Spar to Cabane Fitting - Inspection - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PITTS S-2/6 Amdt 1.

AD/PITTS S-2/6 Amdt 1 Upper Wing Front Spar to
Cabane Fitting - Inspection 11/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified periodic inspection of the front and rear faces of the upper wing front spar to cabane fitting in accordance with Service Letters Nos 2 and 3.  Inspection was required at intervals not exceeding 200 hours time in service or 1 year, whichever occurred first.  Continued use of an AD to mandate this periodic inspection is no longer justified.
