AD/PDH/5 Amdt 3 Bracket Type Propellers Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PDH/5 Amdt 3.

AD/PDH/5 Amdt 3 Bracket Type Propellers - Inspection 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1968 against Hawker Siddeley Herron Technical News Sheet (TNS) No. 26 revision 8 requiring an inspection of Bracket type propellers model PD136/212/1, PD170/212/1 and PD 175/212/1 propellers fitted to De Havilland DH-114 aircraft.

Compliance was as detailed in requirement document.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
