AD/PDH/4 Model 4/4000/6 Blade Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PDH/4.

Propellers - Variable Pitch - De Havilland

AD/PDH/4 Model 4/4000/6 Blade - Modification 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised prior to 1965 against De Havilland MHS series 4HF No.118 requiring a modification to De Havilland propeller blade model 4/4000/6 fitted to types PD66/446/2 and PD96/446/1 propellers.

Compliance was before installation in an aircraft.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated, and that the required modification would have been done by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
