AD/PDH/1 Model 3/1000/2 Hub Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PDH/1.

Propellers - Variable Pitch - De Havilland

AD/PDH/1 Model 3/1000/2 - Hub Modification 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised prior to 1965 requiring a modification to all model 3/1000/2 propellers fitted to DH 104 (Dove) aircraft by replacing all single piece propeller hubs with two piece type hubs.

Compliance was before installation in an aircraft.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated and that all affected propellers would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
