AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-44/16.

Background: | This unique Australian AD specified periodic inspection of both ailerons for cracking of the nose ribs and hinge brackets. Inspection was required at intervals not exceeding 500 hours time in service. This AD was not based on a Piper service document. Using an AD to mandate this inspection is no longer warranted. |
