AD/PA-42/17 Main Landing Gear Actuator Attachment Bolt Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-42/17.

AD/PA-42/17 Main Landing Gear Actuator Attachment Bolt 4/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified periodic inspection and replacement of the MLG actuator attachment bolt in accordance with Piper SB No. 885.  The AD applied to PA-42-1000 only.  Compliance was required at intervals not exceeding 500 hours.  Use of an AD to mandate this periodic maintenance is no longer warranted.
