AD/PA-34/40 Stabilator Attach Fitting Corrosion Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-34/40.

AD/PA-34/40 Stabilator Attach Fitting Corrosion 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified periodic inspection of steel stabilator attach fittings and adjacent fuselage structure in accordance with Piper SB No. 856.  Compliance was required at intervals not exceeding one year.  Retaining this inspection as mandatory maintenance is no longer warranted.
