Background: | This AD specified inspection and replacement of engine control-rod end bearings. The inspection was not based on a Piper service document. USA AD 77-23-03 specified the same inspection. This AD and 77-23-03 required compliance within 25 hours time in service after November 1977 so the AD is no longer required. |
