AD/PA-34/16 Amdt 1 Wing Spar Lower Tension Strap Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-34/16 Amdt 1.

AD/PA-34/16 Amdt 1 Wing Spar Lower Tension Strap - Inspection 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified inspection of the wing spar lower tension strap in accordance with Piper SB No. 437A at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.  SB No. 437A specified a once-only inspection in 1976.  Making these periodic inspections mandatory using an AD is no longer warranted.
