AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-32/55.

AD/PA-32/55 Engine Cowling - Drain Hole Provision 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD specified provision of a drain hole in the engine cowling in accordance with Piper SB No. 580.  Compliance was required within 100 hours time in service after February 1978.  The AD is no longer required.
