Ad/PA-32/53 - Engine Control Rod End Bearings - Inspection and Replacement - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-32/53.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.
Background:	This AD specified inspection and replacement of engine control-rod end bearings.  The inspection was not based on a Piper service document.  USA AD 77-23-03 specified the same inspection.  This AD and 77-23-03 required compliance within 25 hours time in service after November 1977 so the AD is no longer required.
