Ad/PA-32/5 Amdt 3 - Aileron and Stabilator Balance Weight Assembly and Rudder Horn Assembly - Inspection - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-32/5 Amdt 3.

AD/PA-32/5 Amdt 3 Aileron and Stabilator Balance Weight Assembly and Rudder Horn Assembly - Inspection 10/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.
Background:	This AD required inspection of the control surfaces and was originally based on a once-only inspection specified in Piper SB No. 240 and USA AD 67-12-06.  Since 1969 it has specified repeat inspections at intervals of 2 years and 200 hours time in service.  These periodic inspections were unique to Australia.  A review indicated its retention as an AD was no longer warranted.
