AD/PA-31/117 Elevator Spar, False Spar and Butt Rib Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-31/117.

AD/PA-31/117 Elevator Spar, False Spar and Butt Rib 8/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD required inspection of the elevator at intervals of 500 hours TIS in accordance with Part I of Piper SB No. 897A until compliance with Part II was achieved.  This AD was published in 1990, so all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago.
