AD/PA-28/71 Nose Landing Gear Down Lock Modification or Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-28/71.

AD/PA-28/71 Nose Landing Gear Down Lock - Modification or Replacement 7/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.
Background:	This Directive specified Piper SB No. 578B which called for once-only modification of the nose landing gear down lock.  This Directive was not based on a US Directive.  Compliance was required within 100 hours after December 1978 so all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago.  Hence, this AD is no longer required.
