AD/PA-28/39 Stabilator Inspection and Drilling of Drain Holes Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-28/39.

AD/PA-28/39 Stabilator - Inspection and
Drilling of Drain Holes 7/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.
Background:	This Directive, issued in 1972, specified Piper SL No. 615 which called for once-only inspection of the number and location of drain holes in the stabilator and, if inadequate, drilling of drain holes in the required locations.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
