AD/PA-28/16 Amdt 2 Aileron Spar Cracking Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-28/16 Amdt 2.

AD/PA-28/16 Amdt 2 Aileron Spar Cracking 9/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD required inspection of the ailerons at each issue of a maintenance release.  The AD was not based on a manufacturer’s service document.  A review indicated its retention as an AD was no longer warranted.
