AD/PA-25/33 Amdt 2 Wing Forward Spar Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-25/33 Amdt 2.

AD/PA-25/33 Amdt 2 Wing Forward Spar - Inspection and Modification 12/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.
Background:	This AD specified modification of the wing forward spar in accordance with Piper SB No. 414 no later than the next major inspection after July 1974.  This element of the AD was similar to USA AD 73-26-01.  The AD also specified inspection of the inboard ends of the forward spars at intervals not exceeding 1200 hours time in service or 2 years, whichever occurred first.  Using an AD to make this periodic inspection mandatory is no longer warranted.
