Piper PA-23 (Apache and Aztec) Series Aeroplanes

AD/PA-23/52 Navigation Light Wiring Through
Tip Tank - Inspection
2/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD specified a once-only inspection to ensure the navigation light wiring is connected correctly in aircraft equipped with Met-Co-Aire wing tip fuel tanks.  Compliance was required within 25 hours time in service after May 1972, and whenever Met-Co-Aire wing tip fuel tanks were installed.  This AD was not based on a Piper service document or USA AD.  The AD is no longer required.
