AD/PA-23/52 Navigation Light Wiring Through Tip Tank Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-23/52.

AD/PA-23/52 Navigation Light Wiring Through
Tip Tank - Inspection 2/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified a once-only inspection to ensure the navigation light wiring is connected correctly in aircraft equipped with Met-Co-Aire wing tip fuel tanks.  Compliance was required within 25 hours time in service after May 1972, and whenever Met-Co-Aire wing tip fuel tanks were installed.  This AD was not based on a Piper service document or USA AD.  The AD is no longer required.
