Ad/Pa-22/32 Amdt 2 - Fuselage Door Frame Tube Corrosion - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-22/32 Amdt 2.

AD/PA-22/32 Amdt 2 Fuselage Door Frame Tube Corrosion 10/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD was introduced in 1986 as a once-only inspection to achieve compliance with Piper SB No. 819.  Amdt 1 in 1986 offered 3 yearly radiographic inspection as an alternative to the once-only inspection.  Amdt 2 in 1993 extended the radiographic inspection interval to 5 years.  In 2008 a review of unique ADs concluded that this maintenance activity no longer warrants an AD.
