AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-22/23.

AD/PA-22/23 Brake Cable - Inspection 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD specified inspection of the brake cable and pulleys in accordance with Piper SL No. 369 which was published in 1962 and specified inspection at regular intervals.  The AD was published in 1964 and required inspection at intervals of 100 hours time in service.  This maintenance task no longer warrants an Airworthiness Directive.
