AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/P68/6.

AD/P68/6 Rudder Trim Tab Control Rod
P/N 68-506053 - Inspection 9/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.
Background:	This AD specified inspection of the rudder trim tab control rod in accordance with Partenavia SB No. 32.  Italian AD P.68-14 also specified a once-only inspection of the rod, including magnetic-particle inspection if the rod had been installed incorrectly and was to be returned to service.  However, AD/P68/6 specified that an inspection for correct installation was to be carried out at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.  This repetitive inspection was unique to Australia and is no longer required.
